I really think Nintendo only started publishing the series to appeal more to the Japanese consumers not knowing the following it had in the west. Oh yeah, Fatal Frame on Wii was the very first Fatal Frame on a Nintendo console. I definitely would’ve missed out on a lot of awesome games too from Sony and other third parties devs. However, I guess you can say that they did me a favor as well. Sure we would eventually get Xenoblade, Pandora’s Tower, and The Last Story but it was too little too late by then. Since then, I’ve had a PlayStation every generation thanks NOA incompetence. I was a Nintendo only guy until that point. It was one of my major reasons why I decided to get a PS3. Game devs have been hard at work both restoring the old graphics that were fit for the Wii at the time.

Originally, the fourth game in the franchise, Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is another remastered game by Koei Tecmo. I mean, it was bad enough the console was suffering from droughts and piles of shovelware at the time so NOA withholding quality first party content was the last straw.
